Description - Our Eco-Soft foam tiles are designed for users who are looking for a light weight foam flooring or foam matting solution at bargain basement pricing. The interlocking foam tiles are easy to install and maintain and offer many of the same benefits as our 5/8" soft tile products. A few of those benefits are that these foam tiles are waterproof, insulate well against sound and temperature transmission, and are shock absorbent. These soft tiles are also 100% allergen free and contain no latex.
Note: Since these are economy tiles, there may be some surface imperfections and color variation. Also, our Foam products can be punctured by sharp animal nails, rough use, high heels, and moving furniture.
Material – Closed cell EVA foam.
Size – 2' x 2' (Note: Tiles do overlap 1.375” where they lock together)
Thickness – ~11mm
Weight – Tiles weigh approximately 1.00 Lbs. each.
Recommended Uses – Eco-Soft tiles have been used successfully as foam gym mats, as kid's play mats, as foam gym flooring in light duty home gyms, as temporary or portable soft mats, as trade show flooring, as daycare play area flooring, and in any other location where a soft foam floor surface would be beneficial.

  • All of our Eco-Soft tiles are in stock and ready to ship via FedEx Ground.
  • Soft tiles typically ship the same day or the next business day and deliver within 2-7 business days depending on your location.
  • An email will automatically be sent to you with your tracking information as soon as your interlocking foam mats ship and your tracking information becomes available.

  • Eco-Soft tiles are easy to maintain. Due to the interlocking tiles being constructed of durable closed cell EVA foam, no liquids can penetrate the surface of the puzzle tiles.
  • If the soft tiles do get something spilled on them or appear dirty, all that is required to clean them is to do a quick wipe of the foam tiles with a damp cloth and your soft tiles will look like new.
Note: You may notice a slight odor as you open the box or lay these out. It is normal and will dissipate quickly. Rest assured, IncStores foam has been extensively tested and certified to be free of Latex and other hazardous chemicals. These test results are available for your review upon request.

Installation of interlocking tiles is very simple and typically done by the consumer. Typical installation of these tiles is as follows:
  • First, clean your sub floor so it is free of all dirt, grease or debris.
  • Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile and add border tiles outward along the adjacent walls. Add center, corner, and border tiles where you see fit.
  • When coming up to an opposite wall, make sure you cut the tiles to fit the area leaving a gap that’s roughly the thickness of the tiles being used to account for expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in varied temperature ranges.
Note: When piecing interlocking tiles together, adhesives are usually not used since the weight of the locked together product is usually enough to keep the floor tiles from moving. However, if you do experience movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all, some double-sided tape or mat tape can be used around the perimeter of the installation to prevent any movement.

  • Best value foam floor tile system.
  • Lightweight, portable floor tiles.
  • Each tile includes 2 detachable edge pieces allowing any tile to be a border, corner, or center tile.
  • Will interlock with our Rainbow Play Mats.

I run a daycare and I am looking for a flooring that is soft to put in an area where I have the kids do a lot of activities. I want it easy to clean up too! Is this a good product for that type of area?

Our Eco-Soft tiles can be used in day care settings. Since these tiles are economy tiles they may not hold up as long as our Premium Soft Tiles. These tiles are very easy to clean and maintain and can be replaced if damaged.

Hubby has severe nerve damage rendering him unable to feel his feet making him unstable. We need solution for bathroom where water spills won't cause him to slip. The surface appears to be slippery when wet as opposed to the Eco-Soft carpet tiles. Is this so?

Our Eco-Soft Tiles do become slippery when wet. Although our Eco-Soft Carpet tiles will provide a more slip resistant surface, our rubber flooring would provide you with the best slip resistance.

Not very resistant to dents

I purchased enough rubber flooring to cover a basement workout room with barbells, dumbbells and eliptical. If weights are left on the floor significant dents appear and will not go away. Does not look the same as the day I installed it. Does not stand up to small amounts weight concentrated in one area. Not suitable for weight room.

Pefect for Baby, Not so much for dogs!

We love these tiles, they are great for our baby who is bouncing around learning to pull-up, crawl, and stand. His head hasn't been damaged yet from all the tipping over and falling so 5 stars from baby!! I gave it four stars because we have two big dogs and we try to keep them off the tiles but if they even touch them they get scratches from those doggie nails. It would be nice if they were just a wee bit more resistant to these sorts of things. Overall though, we love them! They have turned our uncomfortable hardwood floors into a place where we hang out all the time. I even use ours for yoga and other floor mat style exercises!

Good, but some tiles arrived damaged.

JAMES from Escondido, CA
Bought the Eco-Soft tiles for my senior Mom's room, to warm the floor, provide cushion to her feet and, God forbid, provide a softer surface should she take a fall. Tiles arrived promptly and were easy to install and cut. Some tiles, though, came with dents and gouges right out of the box! Also the color I chose, white, varies in shade from tile to tile which is mostly okay, except at transitions were the color difference is more evident. This is a good company to do business with and I plan to inform them of the damaged tiles and see if they will replace them.

Durable and the kids love it!
5/5 Eco-Soft Tiles
Aviation Adventures, Inc. from Tavernier, FL
I operate a youth aviation education program and wanted to build giant puzzles for my kids. I purchased the 2'x2' tiles and a hot knife to cut each tile into smaller pieces to make the giant compass rose puzzle. The tiles were primed, painted and sealed and given to the kids - ages 10-18 - to assemble as a giant floor puzzle. We just ran 70 teenage girls through a weekend assembling and disassembling the puzzle and the tiles are still in perfect condition. They sat on them, stood on them, mashed the pieces together, ripped them apart and everything is still perfectly intact! I have been so inspired that I am ordering more flooring to create more giant puzzles for kids. The best part is, the kids had a great time and learned something new!

Great tiles

We have struggled with a damp basement, and honestly, a small dog issue in our basement! We bought a few foam tiles to put in the exercise area of our basement. They worked so well we did the entire basement. These solved a whole host of issues we had with that floor, and dang does it smell better! You can just wipe these off....above and below! Very affordable too, and super easy to 9 year old helped trim some of the edge pieces.

The flooring works great for our gym & was very easy to lay down. The only con I've noticed is that when working out sometimes it feels a bit slippery but not enough that it's a problem. Overall great!

Easy Install
3/5 Eco-Soft Tiles
Anonymous from South Palm Beach, FL
The tiles were easy to install and look great but they are kind of thin and if you put anything with moderate weight on them, like a chair, it leaves a permanent imprint in the tile. If I would have known these tiles were not that firm/dense, I would have chosen a more dense, heavy duty tile. Other then that, they did fit together very tight and were easy to put down.

Inexpensive, quick and effective for intended use
5/5 Eco-Soft Tiles
Mike from Hixson, TN
I have a 15x 15 below grade room off of the garage that I finished off to be a home gym and playroom. Although the room has had some water seepage in the past, regrading the outside wall, putting in a plastic barrier between the soil and the exterior wall (builder shoulda done that), plus a 5 gallon bucket bucket of Kilz has all but eliminated the seepage so far.

So my needs were: 1) I needed the floor to be economical 2) I needed a padded floor because my 4 kids + the neighborhood kids play Wii down there 3) It needed to be somewhat water resistant and I wanted to be able to let dry or replace damaged sections easily. (I over-ordered to allow for tile cuts and have a few replacements on hand.) 4) I needed to able to install myself (see economical) quickly as the house was for sale

I looked at Lowes and Home Depot....but no really good options or ideas that were not quiet a bit more than I wanted to spend. I considered rubber flooring, but when I added the shipping cost, WOW, it was too much as well. So I landed this flooring, on sale, with free shipping.

It was an easy transasction. The flooring arrived very quickly (3 -4 days) and I installed it simple as could be. I cut floor tiles with a razor knife along 2 of the walls and it looks like a custom install job.

Very happy with this vendor and the product. Would buy again.
