Description - We at IncStores are proud to introduce our new 5/8” Soft Wood Tiles. Our new foam backed tiles offer the same modern and attractive appearance, but offer much more durability being more scratch-resistant and can withstand more abuse. These high quality tiles are still easy to install, low cost, light weight, and waterproof which means they can be installed in a variety of situations. These foam flooring tiles also help to reduce sound transmission and help to keep users insulated from cold subfloors below. Each tile comes with two removable edge pieces attached which allows you to turn any tile into a corner, border, or center tile; and just like our standard soft wood tiles, our new soft wood tiles are 100% allergen free and latex free.
Note: The wooden design is a thin yet durable veneer like foam surface that can be punctured under rough use and the wooden pattern is not guaranteed to always line up between interlocking tiles.
Material – Soft wood tiles are constructed of closed cell high density foam that helps ensure they are water proof, odor free, light weight yet durable and insulating.

We bought enough tiles to cover our dining room floor to turn it into a play room. The tiles are awesome. The babies love crawling around on them. They look great. My twins love rolling around on the floor. My favorite part is how nice they look. It blends in well with the other rooms in my house and does not look like a day care.

This is a great product but I recommend ordering all you need at once. I ordered 1 set of tiles and then ordered additional tiles about 6 months later and there was a noticeable difference in the color of the "wood".

The wood tiles work great in my child's playroom. I was skeptical at first but they really do look great once put together. They do skuff a little bit, which you can only see at the right angle with the right light. Installs very easily, just fit together and cut the edges with razor blade and straight edge.

was looking for a flooring system that would work well with animals. so far this one is it. second time purchaser. bought for my daughters room first to see how it would hold up. then purchased for our master bedroom. have shown a lot of people and they love it too. not just for weight rooms and nurseries. lets face it, carpet is horrible. this is a great alternative and nice on the feet. buy it and don't put off as long as we did.

I received my flooring within a few days. The installation process was very easy. The tiles don't match up perfectly, but it doesn't look that bad. From a distance all my friends thought it was real wood flooring. It is great to workout on. The only negative thing that I can say is that is doesn't hold up well. Within a few hours after install my dogs and rocks on the bottom of you shoe made holes in the floor. I like the look of it but would like something a little more durable. It was a cheap quick fix but will have to replace it sooner than I would like to have.

We purchased soft wood tiles to cover a 6' x 8' play area for our son at around 9 months when he started crawling and pulling to stand. Our hard wood floors made for rough landings from various trips and falls, but these soft tiles are great for creating a cushioned area for him (not to mention for the adults playing on the floor with him!) The other nice things about this set (unlike some of the ones we looked at from other "baby" stores/sites) are that 1) they are thicker than some others (5/8" vs. 3/8") and 2) they come with the edge pieces to make a complete, smooth rectangle rather than having to pay extra for the outside pieces if you don't want unfinished edges.

Color and quality is very good - seems like it will be a very durable product. They are a bit more firm than I anticipated, but overall should work out great.
We are using this product to create a softer area in our living room as the baby play zone. We need the area to maintain it's style, and not as if the child is taking over our home. The floor matches our honey-oak hardwood well, and is working perfectly well as for safety and style.

We installed the simulated wood grain foam tiles in our kitchen about 8 months ago. It was very easy to install and looked great. More importantly, it was very comfortable to walk and stand on. This was the most important reason for installing it because my wife has painful neuropathy on her feet as a result of chemotherapy, and standing on a hard linoleum floor is practically impossible for her. This floor is a great improvement for her and provides significant relief and now she's able to work in the kitchen in relative comfort. Many of our guests have been pleasantly surprised when they walk on the floor and find that their feet sink in, because it looks so much like a hardwood floor. I also love to walk on the floor, even though I have normal feet it really is comfortable and not cold in the winter like the linoleum floor was. The only problem is that we've noticed a few of the tiles have become marred somehow through usage. We haven't figured out how - we don't wear shoes in the house, just slippers or socks - and yet we're finding small spots where the finished has rubbed off and the color of the foam underneath is showing through. We're thinking that some of the tiles may have to be replaced eventually, or maybe there's some kind of stain or paint that could be used to touch up the spots where it's wearing through?
At any rate, were still happy with the floor and it has been a blessing for my wife, who loves to cook again.

We were looking for an alternative to our old carpet, but really wanted something softer than hardwood. This is perfect! It feels great to sit on, is cushioned for our 6 month old baby, and it looks good. The foam does indent where the furniture is, so we realize we can't rearrange on a whim, but we are ok with that and can replace tiles if we really need to move something. It didn't take any time to install and was so easy!

I want to say how pleased we are with our new flooring. We re-did the entire back room for safety and comfort. What a difference its made in our enjoyment of that room. We have shown off the tiles to many friends. They do dent a little but we expected that and its worth the trade off of nice look, no smell (like other tiles) and ease of cleaning. Here's a pic.

I bought these for a basement bedroom. The floor is cement and full of lumps, so laying laminate, wood or tile would require leveling and far too much time and effort than I wanted to spend. I ordered a sample of the previous version. I ended up ordering this product after reading it was sturdier than the previous version. and it is. I also like the color better.
I laid these by myself. With a simple utility knife and straight edge ruler, it was a simple job. I put down a moisture barrier since it was going over a cement floor. In all, it took me a day to do this.
I've had it down almost 2 months and I love it. It is really comfortable under foot. It is not too soft like one might assume foam would be. It's sturdy, looks pretty and feels good. At certain angles the seams are visible, but if I wanted to take the time, I could use an adhesive to close them. So far, I have just swept and spot cleaned the floor. Clearly, it cannot be mopped because there are seams and it is foam. Wiping with a damp cloth works. I have read some comments that the floor scuffs easily from shoes. I haven't worn shoes, but I wear a hard soled slipper and it is fine. I wouldn't recommend stilettos. I also slid heavy furniture on it since I did it alone (I couldn't lift it and move it on my own) and there is little, if any, marring, which is very unnoticeable.

I bought this for my daughters room which is thin vinyle flooring room. The original floor is too hard for my little one and I'm glad that we picked this one!! It's nice and soft but thick and strong. And because the mat is thick it feels warm with barefoot and is a plus for my daughter:)

I had to order two rounds of tiles. The second batch was not a good color match to the originals and did not line up well to the original tile connections. The matching tiles look very good and were easy to install.

I needed to put down a matting on a basement room where I do eurythmy movement therapy with clients. It just doesn't work to be on a cold, hard cement floor for this. Wood is best, but my basement has flooded twice in the past 15 years (from the nearby river), so I didn't want to install a wood floor. The foam matting was economical, super easy to install, and feels good to walk on. It does scuff easily, just during installation I must have scuffed it by moving the cardboard boxes around on it. So I got a large area rug to put on top and that is perfect for my work and looks nice with the wood-look mat around the edges. I highly recommend this product for folks on a limited budget.

What a great investment. So soft and durable. For years I had to work out on a cold concrete floor I really wasn't sure how much longer my joints could take it. My basement has now become the main focus of my house. My rubber flooring has also made my basement a lot warmer so entertaining has become more pleasant since everyone tends to stay in the basement instead of heading back upstairs. I too find myself in the basement for extended periods of time it has become my favorite room in the whole house. Thanks for such a great product and an even greater price.

Got this flooring to put in my den since being flooded by Superstorm Sandy. It was was very easy to install and looks great. Time will tell how well it lasts but at this price it is well worth the chance. In my den the furniture all stays where it is put because of space. I would not recommend this flooring in a room with moving furniture (such as chairs) because it would leave indentations.

I used this in the front half of my basement as a rec room for the kids. We wanted something that if it got wet would not get destroyed. Usually the basement is dry but with the occasional water this looked easy enough to pull up, dry and put back down. It looks great and my older girls (9 & 11) installed 80% of it. We all had fun putting it down and they had some immediate gratification playing on it.

Everybody should own these things! OMG! I am a 56 year old carpenter and I have found the perfect substitute for wood floors. They are warm, comfortable, sound absorbing and if you lay them out properly the grain from one tile to next matches very well. Spend some time working it out. If you dont, the floor has no chance fooling anyone. They won't for long anyway, but it's just easier on YOUR eyes. the secret is to lay out 4 tiles to make a square without removing the edge pieces.
The grain between these tile will match great. Once you put these 4 tiles together, remove the edge strips and conect to the next batch of 4 tiles.
My wife, who is a chiroprator, and I both enjoy yoga and having the whole room be one huge mat is fantastic. Also just being able to walk around the house barefoot in winter and not have my feet pound into a hardwood floor is so much better than tripping around in slippers and socks.
From a looks and comfort point they are a good choice, in a casual way, however the surface can be damaged by anything sharp, like a large staple on the bottom of a cardboard box.

We were pleased with the look of the soft wood tiles, they look like real wood flooring. But the top layer is too thin, they peel easy, and once an object is on them, and removed, the imprint remains. Not what we expected almost $500 later. We also received a damaged tile, and do to circumstances
haven't been able to call company. If the top layer is thickened and foam is made like the older foam tiles (which we've had for years) we think they'll sustain chairs and small tables.

I ordered the Soft Wood Tiles for my Workout Room. The previous owners had carpet in this room, but I prefer wood or rubber flooring when doing Yoga. The most time consuming part of this process was ripping up the old carpet and padding. Laying the floor was easy you just needed a utility knife and a ruler/level. Working out on this floor has been great. And it looks great, a few family members thought it was wood until they stepped on it.

When our sewer backed up and flooded my exercise room in the basement, which at the time was carpeted, we made the decision to replace the carpet with rubber flooring. When I researched varioius products on line, I came across the soft wood tiles and ordered a sample. When it came we were very impressed with the quality of the product and decided to replace our floor with them. It only took an hour and a half to lay the entire floor down and it looks GREAT!! Our friends all think it's a hard wood floor until they walk on it and realize it's rubber. The exercise room is so much nicer and the quality of the material is better than I imagined.

Love the look and ease of installation. Feels great under foot. I used these tiles in a complete gym floor installation. Great for stretching and working out without shoes. Great on concrete to insulate from cold and sound.
Beware if you plan on putting furniture on these tiles. Tiles are slow to recover from heavy items being placed on them and indentations remain for sometime. Surface is easily marred if you drag items across the tiles.
I used hard plastic floor protectors cut to fit my heavy items before placing these items on the floor. Seems to help prevent marring and indentation.

We have carpet in every room except the kitchen. I bought these tiles for my kitchen floor because I spend a lot of time there and the hard tile floor was hurting my feet. Rags only cover a part of the surface and it is easy to trip over them, not to mention trying to vacuum in peace, and cusioned roll out tiles are too expensive. I'm happy with this product. The color is ok, although I wish there were more colors to choos from but it grew on us. The thickness is just right. Once my newborn starts to crawl, he will not hurt his head if he tips over or falls like my other son used to. If I drop a glass or plate, it won't break. The only thing we have to be careful not to drop is something sharp but even then, it would be easy and cheap to replace the dammaged part. Also, because of the material, when walking on it with bare feet, it makes a sticky sound but nothing loud. Overall, my whole family is happy with the foam floor.

We purchased this product for our playroom! After WEEKS of researching flooring I finally decided to just take a chance with the foam tiles. We knew we couldn't do a hard surface as we have 2 little ones that would be playing on it:) So, it was carpet or something else. The foam tiles ended up being CHEAPER than carpet and I also ended up with a few extra tiles just in case one gets damaged. They look AMAZING. You have to really look closely to see it's not a hard wood floor and they feel AWESOME under your feet! We put a slide in our playroom becuase we felt very confident in the protection of the foam if one of the kids were to fall (and they have, and they bounced right back up). It looks great, it was SUPER easy to install, it feels great, and I am just SUPER satisfied with my purchase!! They ONLY thing I could say negative about them is they are NOT indestructable. They WILL scuff so we have a NO SHOES rule in our playroom. All in all, LOVE this stuff. GREAT product.

I loved the product. It looks very nice on the concrete on my basement. Make sure you lay down a layer of plastic wrap on the concrete before you install these foam on top to prevent any moisture to enter to the foams. I loved the customer service too. They shipped foams with no cost & on a very short time to my address. It get installed very fast in general, but you need to trim the corners. Just make sure your kids do not poke anything sharp, or rub any pen on the surface. Also, do not put heavy objects on them. These thickness is good for kids room. Thinner foams are for rooms with heavy furnitures.

Love how it looks, hate how easily it is punctured. We do art shows, both inside and outside. The floor actually stops people in their tracks because it makes our booth look like it is part of a real home.It is also much easier on our feet whether we are on grass, pavement or concrete.Hate how easily it is punctured by the legs of my chair, our ladder when we must re-hang the art or adjust lighting, and by women in high heels.

I ordered it along with the bamboo roll flooring so I could get decide between the two. After a difficult decision between the two, I opted for these faux wood foam tiles. And I can't believe I ever thought twice about it! This is an inexpensive, light weight, easy to carry, easy to ship flooring that looks great installed. We used it for a 10'x10' tradeshow booth and not only was it easy on the feet, it looked fabulous and we got NUMEROUS positive comments about it.
The only slight negative is that it scrapes easily... of course, we were building a truss display on top of it, so we scraped several of the tiles. But at about $4 a tile, who cares?! we simply lifted up the scraped tiles right before the show started and replaced them. no big deal.
HIGHLY recommend this product!! I like it so much, I'm contemplating putting it in the kids' playroom at home....

I just installed this tile in our bedroom last week, and just got the furniture in 3 days ago. So it's too early to say much. We are interested in using it elsewhere in our little house, so we choose this as a "test project". The floors have some defects that prevent our using typical click together type strips. It feels great under foot! The room is just 10'X 11'. I put the 10' portion down first, (as it required no trimming) in about 15min. The 11' that needed trimming plus the closet took less than an hour. It looks nice. We would love to put it in the kitchen, as we both love to cook, plus we both have joint issues (we're in our 60's). I'm concerned about how it would hold up to the traffic. I would love to know if anyone else has used it in an area that gets a lot of use. I would recommend it to others in appropriate areas.

Bought the flooring for my booth at quilt shows. Love it! Especially when I need to get down on my knees to drag something out from under a table....really nice on the knees. My only regret is that the edges aren't beveled. I don't want my little old ladies tripping and falling. I'll probably have to color the edges to prevent that.

Love the flooring! We used it at a tradeshow and it made a real difference on our feet when standing most of the day. Clients all remarked on the feel of the floor under their feet when they came into our booth. The only draw back, which is why I gave this floor only four stars, is because it punctured from womens shoes if the heel is very small. We now have to replace several tiles from the holes in our floor where it was punctured. Otherwise love the floor and will continue to use it.

It's easy to install, move, and replace. Even moderately heavy items leave fairly deep impressions. They do seem to eventually come out, but it takes a good long while. The surface can tear a little more easily than I'd like. Overall, it's great for my kid's playroom in the basement (which gets wet occasionally, which the floor takes like a champ).

I wish I would have bought this sooner! We have hard wood floors throughout the house and our baby's room had a shaggy rug on the floor which was not cushioned at all. As soon as we put this flooring in his room he instantly became more comfortable moving around on his hands and knees and is now practically crawling! Also, no toxic smell like the other mats have, very easy to put together and simple to clean.

The tiles are easy to put down on the floor as well as very easy to cut with a "Sharp" utility knife to make installation easy. The floor looks great and is firm but perfect to do yoga, dance, and work out on without an additional mat. We installed on a concrete floor but painted with epoxy paint first to seal the floor to stop any moisture from coming up under the mats. Mats appear sturdy but the top layer of vinyl wood laminate is thin so beware of high heels and other things that may puncture the floor and ruin a tile. We are over all very satisfied with look and quality. Customer service was Excellent and always ready to assist!!!

the elderly and Florida flooring do not work well together. My parents have ceramic tile flooring on a cement slab foundation. It is hard. My elderly mother, who has parkinsons, falls often. She just goes down. When she had to have seven stitches above her eye, she agreed I could put the rubber floor tiles in the kitchen. The look of wood made her feel like her home retained a lovely feel. The first time she went down on it, it was an AHA moment. Blood thinners make her bruise easily, but she did not have a mark on her. As I picked her up, we both burst into laughter. It was a non event. Fabulous!

We got the samples and were very pleased with what we saw in the product. We ordered the dark oak tiles. The delivery was very quick. Putting them together was very easy. Cutting was easy using a sharp carpet knife and straight edge. However, the surface of the tiles is very thin. It takes very little to scuff the surface and leave permanent damage. Does not take well to putting chairs on the surface. We are now looking for chairs with a round smooth base.
We do like the way it looks and the way it feels when you walk on it. We are not sure how long these will last. If we do get good wear by being very careful we will be a happy customer.

We have had water problems in our basement (always from a different source). We have torn carpet out so many times I can't count due to mold. In looking for a solution to flooring I wanted something that was not to heavy to lift and could be dried easily once removed from the source of the water. I truely hope we have the moisture problem solved this time but just in case we now have a product that we won't have to throw away.
I went with the wood look soft tile as we have a bedroom and craft area in the basement. I wanted something that would look nice for a guest room as well as water proof. The floor was comlpeted yesterday and it looks fantastic. Now we just need to get all the things moved to the basement that we have stuck all over the house. I am really excited about this product. It insulates against the cold cement floor and is incredibly soft to walk on. I am so glad that in my internet search for a solution to all the needs we had, that I found this product. I highly recommend it. Others in the area are interested in this product as well so you may be getting additional orders! Thanks for this unique product.
PS. My husband and I were physically unable to install this for such a large area. I had someone do it for us but it is simple enough to do that I think anyone that can get down on the floor could do it.

These foam woodtone squares are not only practical but beautiful in my bathroom. The floor was so cold with just vinyl tiles. They feel great when getting out of the shower and are super comfortable to walk on in general. They were easy to cut/fit around all the bathroom fixtures and they were down in an afternoon. The grain of the wood slat look was a little difficut to keep in line. It would have been easier if there were arrows on the back of each tile to keep them all going the way they were meant to go.

It was easy to order. The tile is high quality and we really like having the edge pieces. It is a thicker 5/8" vs 3/8" you see at other online retailers.
We use the tile on top of our hardwood floor in our daughter's playroom. Guests don't even notice until they step on tiles.
I also like how well the tile did not slide versus a thinner product we had used previously.

We purchased these tiles in oct.2011 to cover our tile floor because our son (toddler w/ traumatic brain injury)has horrible balance issues. We bought these as an economical alternative to carpet thinking 3-4 months throw them out when he's better.
First thing to say is that these tiles have saved us several trips to the ER, second thing to say is that they look great. Everyone from family to guests to therapists have stated how nice they feel and how good they look .Now lets get to the pros and cons.

This flooring was so very easy to put down. It feels like you're walking on memory foam, is very soft on your feet and looks great! We put it down in a very angular space - we were able to cut it easily to fit and we're loving it! We're considering it for a downstairs room - the only issue is the dog's toe nails have scratched it, but have not puntured it. This flooring appears to be very durable.

Used the dark oak tiles for the floor of a small room in our poolside house. They were easy to install and look great. The texture of the tiles makes them great for gripping with wet feet. The floor was ok to install (no major problems), final looks are fine. The problem is that it is very delicate and not really good for a flooring that gets any traffic or play other than soft shoes walking lightly. Very concerned about how long it will last.

Incredibly easy to install; so easy I feared I was doing something wrong! Finished product looks like a real wood floor; comfortable, beautiful. I put this in my laundry room on top of a concrete floor. My only problem is the washer vibrating excessively in spin mode because the floor has so much give. Planning on cutting a piece of 3/4" plywood to put beneath the washer on top of the rubber floor. If that doesn't work, I'll have to cut out the floor so the washer will rest on the concrete. Regardless, I'm still very pleased and highly recommend the product.

Being that I have been on those types of floor in martial arts in the past, I thought it'd be great in our family room. We used the flooring for the basement which is set up as a playroom for the boys. The floor looks like a real hardwood floor until you step on it. Its great that its soft for when the boys rough house the only problem I have with it is that it scratches easy. I make sure the kids take off their shoes when they are down there b/c it will scratch the floor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone for a basement or even a childs bedroom. Love it!

These tiles are a dream to walk on, so soft over the comcrete basement floor. I personally would not recomend the soft tiles for kids and pets, unles de-clawed. The wood grain finish is what sold me on the soft tiles, maybe in the future you might be able to make the wood finish in the rubber tiles also. Over all I am very pleased with the product and the simple instilation. My man cave is just about complete.

I bought light oak interlocking rubber tiles to use as a floor in our home gym. It was very easy to install and looks fantastic!! Makes the gym very appealing! Only challenge was to figure out how to align the grain of the wood with the interlocks...sounds easy but every once in a while I was totally stumped. Would help to include a diagram so one can see the various combinations of tile cut and grain.

We have an infant and a toddler, 2 older kids, and a schnauzer who thinks she owns any and every rug/carpet that comes into this house. We wanted to get an area for the kids to play w/out the dog getting on it. This is perfect. I can easily clean it off when the baby has an explosive diaper or my toddler spills her drinks. Its soft enough to prevent any pain when baby falls and looks good for our furniture and floors in every room and even if we need it after they get bigger. I also love how perfect it is beneath our feet when my husband and I play the Kinect games on xbox, I love it. I ended up buying more tiles the very next day after I received my first order. I purchased a set of six 2' square 5/8" thick interlocking tiles with the wood grain finish for a mat in my exercise room. Absolutely love them. We have hardwood floors in a light ash finish and the tiles actually blend in quite well. They provide plenty of cushion for floor exercises too!

I came across your website while searching for flooring to use in my dining room which I converted into a fitness area and what a surprise! My tiles came quickly and they look kick butt on my hardwood floors. I purchased the light birch tiles and every time I walk across them I want to have a smoke and I don't even smoke! LOL. I am a Zumba instructor and needed a place to practice. I had a good sized area in my basement that was a junk catch all. We built a sensory room at our church for children/adults with special needs, and one of the essentials was to have a soft floor. We bought the wooden-looking tiles, and it looks and feels great! Since it does cover the entire floor of the room, I am having problems with "bubbling" but we are trying to fix that with velcro and hoping it gets getter as the floor settles.

We got this wood looking one because the hubby didn't want "tacky" kids mats in our new house.. so we found this great looking wood mats.. awesome.. and with a 7 month old baby crawling and drooling.. this flooring is a snap to clean up! These tiles LOOK amazing and they came in extremely fast. There was a small mark of damage on one of the tiles, but out of 150 that's not too bad.
The floor is very durable with bare or socked feet, but I do NOT recommend wearing tennis shoes on this mat as it scuffs VERY easy. Home use shouldn't be a problem, but for a small business it gets marked up way too easily.

Very soft on the feet, fit together extremely well and easy. Looks just like hard wood flooring. Would definetly purchase again for another part of my home. I was extremely surprised on how well it looked on the floor. I was very sceptical at first and only bought 1 case, but after I assembled it on the floor I could not wait to purchase more to place in other sections of my basement. Its better than wood or carpet.

It did get a little scratch in it when we were moving the treadmill around, but I really don't fault the flooring for that. The treadmill weighs over 200 pounds and taking that into consideration, the scratch is nothing. It is great for plyometrics and floor work. I'm thrilled. It was easy to install and the installation went quick. My husband and I did it in about an hour (the edges took a bit of time as my husband is a firm believer in measure five times...cut once). The room is 225 sq ft. No weird rubber smell and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend. I have been using daily for about a month now.

Received the product in a timely manner. Installation was super easy, used a heavy scissor to cut the tiles which made for a perfect fit. The tiles are installed on a sun porch and they look fabulous. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I dont know how they wear. I hope they last a long time because they look great.

We needed a solution for our kitchen floor, since walking and standing on ceramic tile kept my feet sore. When my sister told me about the soft foam floor tiles that look like wood, I just had to log on to the website to see what she was talking about. I was happy to find a product that would help my feet and look good too. We decided to give the soft foam tiles a try. Delivery was so quick...we were surprised at how fast they arrived. We installed them ourselves...very easy. We love how they look like a hardwood floor. Our family and friends were amazed that the floor is foam. They all were very impressed at how great the floor looks and feels. We have had them a month and we LOVE walking on them. I no longer dread working in my kitchen! EASY to install, looks GREAT! But scratches very easily. We turned a room into an exercise room for my aerobics and yoga and my 10 year old daughter to practice her gymnastics. Can't even notice the seams between the squares. It really looks wonderful and feels so good to walk on. The only complaint I have is that it is way too easy to scratch the floor, and those are very noticeable. We are very careful on the floor, but when you are doing flips and jumps...I think the floor grows new scratches by the day. Maybe a flecked flooring would conceal scratches more....but I love the hardwood look! Would I purchase it again...yes.

we just installed the interlocking plastic tiles (w/ "wood" veneer) in our basement's extra room where we had prior water problems. the tile's waterproof construction seems perfect to resist water damage. installation was pretty easy except when needing to cut with a circular saw irregular sized pieces for the entry areas. it looks great, and we hope it stands the next test of water leaking into the room. so far, so good.

The product is great. I installed it in an exercise room in my basement over a concrete floor. New floor provides good cushion yet dense enough so that a heavy tread mill does not mash it completely or damage it. Instalation was straight forward and cutting tiles to fit went very smoothly with new blade in an exacto knife. Ordering and shipping process were great. I experienced a very professional call about product color, then ordered online and the product was at my door in three days. I would buy the product again.

My husband and I installed the soft tiles in our 2 year old's room and it looks and feels great! We had wanted to change out the old carpet that was in there with something other than carpeting and found these soft tiles. They look awesome and feel soft under your feet. They are easy to clean as they do not absorb liquids or dirt. Super easy to install. Since we have put them them down they have a couple of small marks on them but we expected that (2yr olds are not usually gentle, and we have large dogs) so when we made our purchased we bought a couple of extra pieces just in case. Which is a great idea, that way if something does happen it will take you 30 seconds to replace and the floor will look brand new again. Definately would recommend for a child's room!

We did a three day trade show at the Dullus Expo Center in VA, and used your flooring system for the first time. I bought the rubber flooring tiles with the woodgrain finish in light oak. I wanted them for a sunroom that has a tile on concrete floor that we use as a den. The floor was alwasy cold to our feet because it is concrete on soil. Very nice look and makes the room much more comfortable. Great product.

We love this flooring! We finished our basement and put this soft wood tiles in our weight room, craft room, and office. I am on my feet all day when I am doing cakes and things so this flooring is great. With the cushion I am able to be on my feet and not have my body ache afterwards.
As for durability I would say its good. You obviously wouldn't want to drag something that weighs hundreds of pounds on it! that would ruin most things. But we have dropped sharp things on it and from out 3 kids that do most things to it just naturally its very durable. doesn't soak up spills because the finish on the top. doesn't stain either. I am very pleased and have already reccommended this to family and friends.

These wood designed tiles are very high quality. They look great, got many compliments. The thickness of the foam is perfect. Thick enough to feel the cushion, and strong enough to resist normal punctures. I bought it for my trade booth, but love it so much that I use it in my kitchen when I am not exhibiting. The tile face wipes clean easily. Great product, perfect thickness, nice looking - all at a fair price. The customer service at this company is great too.

I put the tiles in my playroom off of the kitchen where people can easily see. I chose the wood looking rubber mats. People don't realize that it's rubber until they walk on it. Looks great and is very safe for my child. Will order them again when they get worn out. The tops of the tiles scratch a little more than I expected, but that is a price I'm willing to pay for the look and safety.

I bought the wood tiles for my two childrens rooms , I placed them along their beds for added protection against falling out of bed & for jumping out of bed. They blended in so well with our hardwood floors. I should of bought some more. Prices are wonderful , I shopped around and Foamtiles.com offered the best prices. The only thing I wish they offered additional boarders for tiles.

We're currently renting and the entire house is carpeted, which I hate, but we won't be moving soon (or soon enough). We have an active 2 year old and another on the way, and the interlocking wood tiles are just perfect for play, super easy to clean and maintain. Initially I bought these for our son's playroom, but then we loved it so much, we're doing the entire house! When we move we can use them in the new house too as it's good to go over harder surfaces.
I highly recommend for toddlers, and adults who prefer a healthier living space/hates carpet. It's soft and durable, easy to assemble and very nice looking.

Bought as a play mat so our baby didn't have to sit on the hardwood floors.
Because I read the reviews, I was aware that the veneer on the tiles scratched easily. However, the
Wear and tear would be far less noticeable if the inner foam was colored matched to the surface color.
Also, the corner pieces can easily be pulled off and chewed on by baby -- a potential
Choking hazard. Baby likes to pull the edging off also and chew on it. Overall, not a good choice for our baby.

We have chosen the light wood color (highly recommend) soft wood tiles after seeing them at a textile trade show. They were a great price for starters, and secondly the shipping was inexpensive. They arrived in 2 boxes within 3 days! We purchasd a 20' x 10' space and checked the box for overage. Installing was quite easy, the only problem is that we had to cut the tiles to fit within the perimeters of our booth, which we had no problem with. The look was amazing and modern, but you must make sure the flooring underneath is even. Everyone that entered our booth always commented on how wonderful it felt, however it can be too soft at times. I was wearing a kitten heel and the floor was too soft so the heel punctured holes in the tiles. Luckily, I had slippers that I slipped on. This flooring is great, and it is perfect for temporary flooring or a child's playroom. We needed temporary flooring, and this fit the bill perfectly. Would definitely buy again!
