Thicker and more consistent, these foam tiles are the perfect light weight foam flooring option for any room in your home. Each tile features two removable edge pieces and is resistant to water, mold and mildew growth. Since these interlocking tiles are made with closed celled EVA foam, they are very insulating making them great for any basement or enclosed patio. These soft tiles are 100% free of any allergens or latex.
Note: These tiles are made of foam may have some color variation. Also, our Foam products can be punctured by sharp animal nails, rough use, high heels, and moving furniture.
Material – Closed cell EVA foam.
Size – 2' x 2'.
Thickness – ~11mm
Weight – Tiles weigh approximately 1.00 Lb. each.
Spec Sheet - Printable Spec Sheet.
Recommended Uses – Eco-Soft + tiles have been installed successfully in basements, kid's playrooms, as light duty home gym flooring, as temporary portable flooring, in bedrooms, as trade show flooring, in child care facilities, and anywhere a soft foam flooring surface is desired.
  • All of our Eco-Soft + tiles are in stock and ready to ship via FedEx Ground.
  • Soft tiles typically ship the same day or the next business day and deliver within 2-7 business days depending on your location.
  • An email will automatically be sent to you with your tracking information as soon as your interlocking foam mats ship and your tracking information becomes available.
  • Eco-Soft + tiles are easy to maintain. Due to the interlocking tiles being constructed of durable closed cell EVA foam, no liquids can penetrate the surface of the puzzle tiles.
  • If the soft tiles do get something spilled on them or appear dirty, all that is required to clean them is to do a quick wipe of the foam tiles with a damp cloth and your soft tiles will look like new.
Installation of interlocking tiles is very simple and typically done by the consumer. Typical installation of these tiles is as follows:
  • First, clean your sub floor so it is free of all dirt, grease or debris.
  • Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile and add border tiles outward along the adjacent walls. Add center, corner, and border tiles where you see fit.
  • When coming up to an opposite wall, make sure you cut the tiles to fit the area leaving a gap that’s roughly the thickness of the tiles being used to account for expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in varied temperature ranges.
Note: When piecing interlocking tiles together, adhesives are usually not used since the weight of the locked together product is usually enough to keep the floor tiles from moving. However, if you do experience movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all, some double-sided tape or mat tape can be used around the perimeter of the installation to prevent any movement.

    Q:

Could the foam tiles be interlocked to produce a mat approx 4 x 6 ft for between stove and fridge. Would this be practical?

    A:

Our Eco-Soft + tiles can be made into a 4' x 6' mat with ease. The number of tiles you need to create a mat of approximately this size is 6. If you are looking for a product that will add comfort under foot and is easy to install and remove, then these tiles will work great for your application.

    Q:

My room is 11 feet 2 inches by 18 feet 1 inch. As far as amount to order, do I round up and order an extra foot (so 12 by 19) or order down and order 11 by 18?

    A:

When ordering any of our interlocking flooring, we recommend rounding up to the closest whole foot to ensure proper coverage of your space.

    Q:

Do you ship to Canada?? If so what would be the shipping cost of approximately 160 tiles to Ottawa Canada.

    A:

We do ship to Canada. To get shipping costs for this, please contact one of our flooring heroes and they will be more than happy to assist you with this request.

    Q:

We have an aging pug dog who has difficulty keeping her feet under her on our vinyl kitchen floor. Would these tiles be durable against her nails and against the occasional potty accident?

    A:

Our Eco-Soft + tiles are made of a foam and will provide your pug with comfort and better traction as it walks. Since these tiles are made of foam, they can be damaged by dog nails. This typically happens when the dog is digging their nails in to run. These tiles are non-porous, so they will not be affected by any accidents. Just simply clean up the mess as needed.

    Q:

Can I use them as the base for my above ground pool liner? I am going to place my pool on concrete and want this to add cushion to the bottom for the liner.

    A:

Our Eco-Soft + tiles can be used as cushioning underneath your pool.

    Q:

We are raising ducks and are interested in this as a base floor. I'm curious as to how well it would stand up to a pushbroom and a pressure washer. The ducks have claws but they only weigh a few pounds. I'm also concerned with the corrosive properties of urine. If washed every evening, do you think they would hold up?

    A:

Our 1/2" Eco-Soft + Tiles are made of foam and would not hold up well to the daily abuse from both the ducks and the washing. For this type of application, we would recommend one of our rubber flooring products. Our best products for this application would be our Stall Mats. These mats are non-porous and would be able to withstand the daily abuse. The next best option would be either our standard rubber rolls or our standard rubber tiles. Both are somewhat porous but are durable and easy to clean. All of our rubber products are shock absorbent making them great for ducks to walk and lay on.

    Q:

Can these tiles pair/interlock well with the "1/2 Designer Soft Tiles"?

    A:

Our 1/2" Eco-Soft + Tiles will not interlock with our 1/2" Designer Soft Tiles.

    Q:

Could this be used as an outdoor dance floor if placed on plywood?

    A:

Our Eco-Soft + tiles are made of foam and would not be the best flooring choice as a dance floor. These tiles can be installed outdoors. Since they are made of foam, they may not last very long in the elements. These tiles tend to break down over time and will fade in direct sunlight. This won't happen overnight or in the first year or two but happens over time. If one of your tiles were to become damaged in any way, you could easily replace them with another.

    Q:

I know it says 2' x 2', but I am trying to match up some mats from Sams SEVERAL years ago. These look very similar, but mine are 24 1/4 x 24 1/4 from outside tab to outside tab. (No border) Can you verify the exact measurement?

    A:

    Our 1/2" Eco-Soft + tiles are 2' x 2' with edging. With the edging removed, the tiles are 23-1/4" x 23-1/4".

Pefect for Baby, Not so much for dogs!
Self-installed in Play Room
from Boone, NC wrote...
We love these tiles, they are great for our baby who is bouncing around learning to pull-up, crawl, and stand. His head hasn't been damaged yet from all the tipping over and falling so 5 stars from baby!! I gave it four stars because we have two big dogs and we try to keep them off the tiles but if they even touch them they get scratches from those doggie nails. It would be nice if they were just a wee bit more resistant to these sorts of things. Overall though, we love them! They have turned our uncomfortable hardwood floors into a place where we hang out all the time. I even use ours for yoga and other floor mat style exercises!

Self-installed in Home Gym / Playroom

I have a 15x 15 below grade room off of the garage that I finished off to be a home gym and playroom. Although the room has had some water seepage in the past, regrading the outside wall, putting in a plastic barrier between the soil and the exterior wall (builder shoulda done that), plus a 5 gallon bucket bucket of Kilz has all but eliminated the seepage so far.

So my needs were: 1) I needed the floor to be economical 2) I needed a padded floor because my 4 kids + the neighborhood kids play Wii down there 3) It needed to be somewhat water resistant and I wanted to be able to let dry or replace damaged sections easily. (I over-ordered to allow for tile cuts and have a few replacements on hand.) 4) I needed to able to install myself (see economical) quickly as the house was for sale

I looked at Lowes and Home Depot....but no really good options or ideas that were not quiet a bit more than I wanted to spend. I considered rubber flooring, but when I added the shipping cost, WOW, it was too much as well. So I landed this flooring, on sale, with free shipping.

It was an easy transasction. The flooring arrived very quickly (3 -4 days) and I installed it simple as could be. I cut floor tiles with a razor knife along 2 of the walls and it looks like a custom install job.

Very happy with this vendor and the product. Would buy again.

Good, but some tiles arrived damaged.
Self-installed in bedroom

Bought the Eco-Soft tiles for my senior Mom's room, to warm the floor, provide cushion to her feet and, God forbid, provide a softer surface should she take a fall. Tiles arrived promptly and were easy to install and cut. Some tiles, though, came with dents and gouges right out of the box! Also the color I chose, white, varies in shade from tile to tile which is mostly okay, except at transitions were the color difference is more evident. This is a good company to do business with and I plan to inform them of the damaged tiles and see if they will replace them.
Durable and the kids love it!

I operate a youth aviation education program and wanted to build giant puzzles for my kids. I purchased the 2'x2' tiles and a hot knife to cut each tile into smaller pieces to make the giant compass rose puzzle. The tiles were primed, painted and sealed and given to the kids - ages 10-18 - to assemble as a giant floor puzzle. We just ran 70 teenage girls through a weekend assembling and disassembling the puzzle and the tiles are still in perfect condition. They sat on them, stood on them, mashed the pieces together, ripped them apart and everything is still perfectly intact! I have been so inspired that I am ordering more flooring to create more giant puzzles for kids. The best part is, the kids had a great time and learned something new!
