Description - Premium HD (High Density) Soft Tiles are the perfect flooring option for anyone wanting both durability and comfort in their home gym. These high density interlocking foam tiles feature a textured surface and two detachable edge pieces allowing you to create a custom mat or full floor. Being constructed of closed cell EVA foam makes these tiles a perfect insulator of both sound and temperature. Not only are these tiles great in your home, but they are also the perfect flooring option for horse stables. Our Premium HD Soft Tiles are very lightweight and portable and contain no latex or allergens.
Note: There may be some surface imperfections and color variation. Also, our Foam products can be punctured by sharp animal nails, rough use, high heels, and moving furniture.

  • Soft tiles are very easy to maintain. Due to the tiles being constructed of durable closed cell foam, no liquids can penetrate the surface of the tiles.
  • If the tiles do get something spilled on them or appear dirty, all that is required to clean them is to do a quick wipe of the tiles with a damp cloth and your soft tiles will look like new.

I am looking for a flooring solution for my home gym I want something astatically pleasing but that I can put a treadmill on and do weight training/cross fit style training. Suggestions on a product that would fit this

Our Premium HD Soft Tiles are a high density foam tile that can handle a treadmill on of it. These tiles are also absorbent enough to handle weight training and cross fit style training as well. Since these tiles are made of foam, there is potential for the tiles to become indented due to the weight of the treadmill. Also with these being tiles, some exercises could cause the tiles to separate which can cause a trip hazard. The best products that we have for what you are looking for would be our rubber products. Our 8mm Strong Rubber Rolls and our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls would be able to handle the treadmills weight with ease and are also better able to handle most cross fit and weight training exercises.
Hi - are these formaldehyde and toxin free?? Do you test for formaldehyde?

Formaldehyde is not used in the making of foam tiles. Formamide is, and we test to make sure it is not used in the making of our foam tiles. All of our tiles are tested for this chemical and are free of any formamide use. You can get a copy of this testing on our site when you click the 'Kid Safe' icon.
I am looking for a mat to put below my bike trainer, primarily to help absorb vibration and reduce sound. This is not a heavy gym spin bike, it is a rear-wheel bike trainer, so it's relatively light. However, it would be in a fixed location on the mats. Given my priorities (reducing vibration and sound), would you recommend these HD Soft Tiles or should I go with a rubber mat that will hold up better to the trainer sitting on it in the same position? Thanks!

These Premium HD Soft Tiles are great at absorbing noise from all sorts of workout and can be great at dampening sounds from vibrations. Because these tiles are made from high density foam they will indent a bit with heavy equipment. For equipment with a narrower base (like a exercise bike) we would suggest going with a rubber product like the 8mm Strong Rubber Rolls and our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls which will not indent and cause any imbalance while you're on the machine.
Your Premium Soft Tiles suggest they can be used for garage gyms, does this assume cars are parked on them in the garage as well?

Our Premium HD Soft Tiles are made out of foam, so we do not suggest driving over them or parking on them.
Does this tile have a smell? Like a VOC smell? I figure the rubber mats you have a smell, but foam might be different? Please let me know.

Our 3/4" Premium HD Soft Tiles don't have much of a smell to them at all. If you are sensitive to smells, our foam tiles are one of our safest bets for not affecting you. If for some reason, you are very sensitive to smells, you can always mop our flooring with a mild soap and water solution.
Are these tiles able to be cut with a utility knife (or similar) fairly easily?

Our 3/4" Premium HD Soft Tiles can be cut with a sharp utility knife. They are made of high-density foam, so a few cuts may need to be had to cut through them, but these tiles do cut fairly easily.
Is this safe to use on top of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) floors? I’m looking for something to put over my LVP that is non slip for working out. I will also put a spin bike on it. I have read rubber tiles can stain LVP.

These Premium HD Soft Tiles would be great to protect your floors and create a soft workout environment. Since these tiles are made with a stable EVA foam, they do not have any issues associated with staining LVP like you may experience with poorly made rubber products. The EVA foam is great on all surfaces.

I like the material, these are great tiles. The problem is there is no consistency in their thickness, so you end up with uneven seams between each tile. I received tiles from .61″ through .84″ thick. I assumed I just had a bad batch, or that I had boxes from different manufacturing plants. Customer service worked with me to get a new set of tiles (though it took a month). Unfortunately the new set was just as bad. I found that a single tile could vary by up to .17″ from one corner to the other. With twice as many tiles as I needed for the space I was able to find enough similarly thick tiles, and rotate them to keep the gradient going smoothly enough. The result is great. It just took many painstaking hours of measuring every side of every tile with a digital caliper. Unless they can fix their manufacturing consistency, I cannot recommend this product.

The tiles were easy to work with. Installed in minutes and each tile is exactly the same as the next one. The one and only issue is, you cannot place a machine or drop a dumbbell on them, without leaving a mark. Given the layout of my home gym, this is only a minor issue for me.

Ordered some of these a few years ago and the new ones are a bit different. They are softer and hold indents more than the old ones. Also don’t fit together the same so don’t plan on adding on to an older install.
